There is a lot going on in this segmented blank. The main components are stabilized natural Box Elder Burl and double dyed blue Box Elder burl. This beauty features segments separated by 1/64″ aluminum sheets, with four 3/32″ aluminum rod highlights at at each end of the cap. The cap also as a custom finial made from a portion of the blue box elder burl. Both blanks were obtained from Texas Wood House.
